Mother Teresa
It’s summer. That means I can make time to do things that I don’t usually do.
Keywords: “MAKE TIME”
Every individual has 24 hours in a given day, but my 24 hours just go away like *poof* and I end up procrastinating on the things that I planned to do IN THE ENTIRE SUMMER AKA when I have free time. It makes no sense sometimes, but it happens.
One thing I’ve decided to do is re-read Rediscovering Catholicism by Matthew Kelly. Why?
1) It is good because it’s great for not just Catholics, but non-Catholic Christians as well to some extent. It has some universal messages that don’t just appeal to one sect of religion.
2) Because I CAN! And I believe it will be good for me I’ve got time and I’m “making time” right now by tumbling about what I read.
For the non-religious, I won’t be preaching or shoving any religious teachings into your thoughts. Just testifying about how awesome this woman is:

Some people may find their inspiration or motivation from singers, songwriters, poets, athletes, rappers, etc…I found mine by reading Mathew Kelly’s book Rediscovering Catholicism. Mother Teresa. I admire her because she is a great example of being “the best version of yourself”. She was a woman of service to the sick and in poverty and lived in a capital of poverty in India. Diseases everywhere. Everyone virtually naked in the streets. People covered in sores. Leukemia, tuberculosis, lesions, lumps…etc. But she didn’t care. It didn’t stop her from helping people in whatever way she could.
And so this inspires me. SHE inspires me. The patience, the understanding….the service, the faith in God. And most importantly, the authenticity of it all. No wonder I’m not the only person on this planet that looks up to her.
